SelfSimulation.com is a blog and repository for my thoughts and essays about consciousness, real and artificial intelligence, real and artificial life, and the exploration of experiments in a virtual space that can test ideas about all of these things.
My name is Terren Suydam, and at this point I’d have to call myself a well informed layperson. I live with my wife, daughter, dog and cat in Califon, NJ, USA. I currently work for a startup that develops home networking software for non-technical people.
This website will evolve slowly, as I don’t have a whole lot of time these days. Ultimately, my aim is to do real research investigating the ideas that I present here.
